The November Crop is at My House!

I've recently been meeting up with a great group of girls to make some fun scrapbook and card projects. We rotate meeting places and I'm excited that we are getting together at my house for our November crop on November 14th.

Pam Thorn, who is an expert scrapbooker, will be leading a project class where we will make a 6 x 6 acrylic scrapbook album using your choice of papers. The papers will be pre-cut and ready to assemble to conserve class time for creative embellishments, stamping, and learning new techniques.

You can either bring photos to add that day so you will be completely finished when you leave, or you can add your photos later.

Lunch will be provided, and even though we call it a "class" since we'll be learning, it is really fun and laid back; we talk and laugh and listen to great music.

I had NEVER done any creative scrapbooking when I attended my first class of Pam's, and in just a few hours, I created an amazing album that I would have never imagined I was capable of. The great thing about these classes is that you leave with a completely finished project. This acrylic album is PERFECT to either give as a gift or just show off at Christmas.

Here is the cover and a few pages (using the Aspen paper pack) from an example of the album we'll be creating:

In addition to the Aspen papers, here are the additional paper pack designs you can choose from: (there are six paper designs in each pack; the images below show a sliver of each design.)

Serendipity
Moon Doggie

Key to My Heart

It's a Guy Thing

Unforgettable

Twitterpated

Life's Delights

Emporium

If you'd like to come, the class fee is $35 and includes all materials (except adhesive) needed to complete the album. Each kit comes with coordinating cardstock, ribbons, and embellishments, according to paper choice.

RSVP is needed by October 25th for supplies to be ordered and papers pre-cut. Please respond to the invite and also email your paper pack choice to Pam Thorn, thornpj@embarqmail.com as soon as possible.

After we finish up with our acrylic albums, feel free to stay as long as you want and work on any other cards or scrapbook projects you are in the middle of or want to get started. Pam will have the embossing tool, Cricut, and other cool tools to use. Just bring adhesive, paper, cardstock, and embellishments for any other projects you want to work on and (most importantly!) get Pam's advice on.

Hope to see you there!
Kim
